Before the Industrial Revolution, making goods was a craft. In the mid-1800s, mass production led to dull, repetitive, often unsafe roles. Then came automation. Initially, huge robots, while amazing in their technology and effectiveness, were impersonal. Today, collaborative robotics, simplified user interfaces, AI, and sustainable engineering have put humans back in charge, bringing it full circle. Manufacturing is once again a craft, and we are the craftspeople of tomorrow.
